Moving to a new home in Kampala? Whether you’re heading across town or just down the road, packing can be one of the most overwhelming parts of the process. 1. Start Early, Pack Smart
Don’t wait until the last minute. Begin packing at least 2–3 weeks before your move. Start with items you rarely use like decorations, books, or seasonal clothing.

2. Declutter Before You Pack
Moving is the perfect time to get rid of what you don’t need. Donate, sell, or dispose of items that no longer serve a purpose. This reduces load, costs, and stress.

3. Use the Right Materials
Invest in sturdy boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap, and labels. Using poor-quality materials can lead to breakage or unnecessary damage—something we always avoid in our professional moves.

4. Label Everything Clearly
Label each box with its contents and the room it belongs to. This makes unpacking much easier and helps movers place items in the correct areas.
